We're Home!!

After some long drives, packing up our stuff in the middle of a tropical storm, and having to find a house in a day, we are finally here and settled in our new home!! I must say..... we LOVE it here! We found a really cute 3 bedroom townhouse- with a deck and garage :) - that we moved into the 2nd day we arrived. I ended up getting a job right away working as a Chiropractic assistant at the Chiropractic College Ty is going to, so we are able to all car pool into school/work with Ty's old mission companion and 2 other guys from the ward. Tyrone started his classes last week and has really enjoyed how they relate everything he learns to chiropractics. It's made his work load much easier for him because he actually enjoys what he is learning. One of our biggest concerns was finding affordable insurance but my new job completely covers me and I can add ty for an extra $120 a month starting the 1st of next month! It's been really amazing finally being settled and feeling like we are starting our little family. We have really seen Heavenly Father's hand in our lives so much over the last few weeks and are so grateful for His tender mercies!

I don't have much time to write but I know we were way over due on an update! I hope everyone is doing well! Please call and email us, we love hearing from everyone and miss you all so much!

Missouri here we come...

The time has finally come! We are somewhat excited for our move in two days, however we're really starting to feel a little anxious. Ty and I keep having to reassure ourselves every morning that we can make this final move. We are usually pretty good movers and can usually adapt where ever we are, but this move is a scary one for us. I think it's because even though we've moved 5 times in our short year and a half of marriage, we've always been fortunate to have a lot of friends or family around... or friends who feel like family. This time we only know one family. One great family.. but one family all the same. It's also been hard saying our final goodbye to Utah. This summer out here has flown by so fast it seems like we didn't get nearly enough time with everyone!! It just gives you all an excuse to come out and visit us though right?
For all of you who are wondering, here are the Foster's plans for the next couple weeks...

Friday morning at 6:45 my little sister Brie and I will fly to Tallahassee. We have a 5 hour wait at the airport if we are lucky (we are flying standby- so a lot of you will probably get a call from me). My dad is meeting us down there Friday night some time and then early Saturday morning we will pack up the van we rented with all of the stuff we have in storage and at friends houses out there, go visit with my grandad for a little bit, and then start the 18 hour drive from Florida to Missouri.

Tyrone will leave after he drops us off at the airport Friday morning around 5am and drive straight through to Missouri. He plans to get to there sometime Friday night and stay at our friends house that night. Saturday he is going to look at all of the houses, townhouses, and apartments we've been looking at over the Internet the last couple of months and hopefully find one for a great price in a great neighborhood that we can move into by Sunday when my dad, Brie and I get there with the rest of our stuff.

Exciting huh? But wait... there's more..

We'll then have 3 days to help Tyrone unpack all the stuff and get our place set up before I leave for New York/PA for two and a half weeks. Why am I leaving my husband to fend for himself for 2 1/2 weeks?

Two reasons:

1. I got a call today for a baby nurse job in NY for 5 days and since I don't have a job yet in Missouri the extra $1000 will be really helpful. I keep saying I'm not going to do these jobs anymore because it's to hard to be away from Ty for so long... but the money keeps sucking us in.

2. My little nieces just got released from the hospital today (they are finally a little over 4 pounds!) but my mom will be going out of town and so my sister will need help with the babies while she's gone.

You can't imagine how excited I am to hold and kiss my little nieces!! Only one more week! I just feel bad I won't be there on Tyrone's first day of Chiropractic school and feel like I won't really be seeing him much this next month. It might be good though that he won't have me there to distract him for his first two weeks of school :)

Well, we will miss all of you and hope you can come visit us soon!

Wish us luck!!

YIKES....

Okay, so I am the worst blogger EVER!! It's been over a month since my last blog and I have hardly any pictures for this blog!! I would say that I will be better, but with a broken laptop I can't make any promises!

Wow, where do I begin... well I guess I'll start with the most exciting thing. My little sister had her twins and I am for the first time and AUNTIE!!! For those of you who didn't know- my little sister Blair was pregnant with identical twin girls. She had to do an emergency c-section 2 1/2 months early, which gave us all a scare, but the babies are doing amazing. They were only 2 1/2 and 2 pounds and both a little over 15inches, so they look like little aliens. (hehe) Poor little things! I still think they are super cute. My mom just sent me pics last night....
This is my little alien Giselle

For some reason Dominique's picture won't post so I'll have to try later, but she looks just like Giselle only has a pink hat on :)

Anyway, I have to give a shout out to my sister Blair who has been such a trooper through this all. She just got out of ICU yesterday (6 days later) but has been in such great spirits. We found out today that she has Peripartum Cardiomyopathy. It is a rare form of congestive heart failure that develops either in late pregnancy or in the first five months after delivery. It typically involves the left ventricle of the heart, which is enlarged and not pumping efficiently. This has caused a lot of fluid in and around her heart. It's not curable, but it is treatable and can be kept under control (by my mom reminding her to take her medicine everyday :) ) The biggest downfall was that she can't breast feed the babies and she can't have any more kids- which I think was the most upsetting thing- to which she said, "Well at least Heavenly Father blessed me with two." Amazing. She's had such a great attitude this whole time and keeps reassuring everyone that everything will be okay. My parents and her husband have had a lot of sleepless nights in the hospital the last week, but we are all kind of feeling a sense of relief finally.

Moving on to less intense news :) Tyrone and I are still loving it out here in Utah. It's been so fun getting to spend time with so many of our friends out here. Tyrone is liking his job at Gold's gym and I am counting down the days to graduation (29 days!). I think we are both pretty ready for our move to Missouri- mostly just to be able to get settled somewhere for a couple years with no more moves for a while. It'll be nice to finally get some stability.

My mom, little sisters, brother, sister-in-law, and sister-in-law's sister all came out to visit us a couple weeks ago and we had a ton of fun. My sister's made us go to Cafe Rio about 4 times in the week they were here. I never thought Ty and I could get sick of Cafe Rio, but I think we came really close that week! It was really great seeing so many family members and made me even more excited for graduation when the whole gang comes out!

Well, like I said, I will really try to get better at this! I am really glad we started a blog (Thanks Megan) and have really enjoyed reading all of yours!

Baby Showers, Birthdays and Personal Chefs!!

I don't have much time to write, but with finals coming up and my little sisters coming into town, I can't imagine I'll have time to write for a little while!! These last two weeks have been such a blast! I swear the month of June is always the best. The weather in Utah has been just perfect and being here with all of our good friends has made it even better!

We pretty much started our month partying! My friend Megan had her baby shower on that first Thursday, and it was a ton of fun! I met some really fun people and she got such cute things! It makes me excited for when Tyrone and I finally decide to have a baby :)

The next day (Friday) was my birthday and so we went out to Tucano's with a bunch of friends and then afterwards went back to our place for some cake and ice cream. It was really great seeing everyone, and Tyrone totally surprised me with a Wii!! I couldn't believe it! I think he was just as excited as me to play!

After such a great birthday I definitely was not expecting anything more from Tyrone, so I was totally shocked the next day when he told me to dress up nice because he was taking me out for a romantic dinner. Once we left the house, he told me we may have to wait a little bit before we go to the restaurant because they were getting everything "ready" for us. We drove around for a while and until he suddenly realized he "forgot" his wallet, so we went back to the house and he told told me we'd just wait there until the restaurant called us. At this point I was thinking "Man he's really got a hook up at this place!"
Anyway, we get to our front door and he knocks on it, so i start laughing at him and go to open the door... when all of a sudden the door opens and there is a chef on the other side!!
He hired a personal chef to come and make us dinner!!
The chef (Moroni was his name) was amazing! He did a great job transforming our apt into a little romantic restaurant- from the music to the candles and "champagne" glasses to the three course meal... it was all amazing!!

I seriously have the best husband ever!!

Our camera was out of battery so we took pics on Ty's cell phone. The pictures don't really do the night justice, but here they are anyway!!

Here is our first post! We are excited to get our blog started! We are in Utah, going to school and working, but having fun too! We went up to the Chase's cabin for Memorial Day...and have done many other fun things! Check back often to see what we are up to!
