YIKES....

Okay, so I am the worst blogger EVER!! It's been over a month since my last blog and I have hardly any pictures for this blog!! I would say that I will be better, but with a broken laptop I can't make any promises!

Wow, where do I begin... well I guess I'll start with the most exciting thing. My little sister had her twins and I am for the first time and AUNTIE!!! For those of you who didn't know- my little sister Blair was pregnant with identical twin girls. She had to do an emergency c-section 2 1/2 months early, which gave us all a scare, but the babies are doing amazing. They were only 2 1/2 and 2 pounds and both a little over 15inches, so they look like little aliens. (hehe) Poor little things! I still think they are super cute. My mom just sent me pics last night....
This is my little alien Giselle

For some reason Dominique's picture won't post so I'll have to try later, but she looks just like Giselle only has a pink hat on :)

Anyway, I have to give a shout out to my sister Blair who has been such a trooper through this all. She just got out of ICU yesterday (6 days later) but has been in such great spirits. We found out today that she has Peripartum Cardiomyopathy. It is a rare form of congestive heart failure that develops either in late pregnancy or in the first five months after delivery. It typically involves the left ventricle of the heart, which is enlarged and not pumping efficiently. This has caused a lot of fluid in and around her heart. It's not curable, but it is treatable and can be kept under control (by my mom reminding her to take her medicine everyday :) ) The biggest downfall was that she can't breast feed the babies and she can't have any more kids- which I think was the most upsetting thing- to which she said, "Well at least Heavenly Father blessed me with two." Amazing. She's had such a great attitude this whole time and keeps reassuring everyone that everything will be okay. My parents and her husband have had a lot of sleepless nights in the hospital the last week, but we are all kind of feeling a sense of relief finally.

Moving on to less intense news :) Tyrone and I are still loving it out here in Utah. It's been so fun getting to spend time with so many of our friends out here. Tyrone is liking his job at Gold's gym and I am counting down the days to graduation (29 days!). I think we are both pretty ready for our move to Missouri- mostly just to be able to get settled somewhere for a couple years with no more moves for a while. It'll be nice to finally get some stability.

My mom, little sisters, brother, sister-in-law, and sister-in-law's sister all came out to visit us a couple weeks ago and we had a ton of fun. My sister's made us go to Cafe Rio about 4 times in the week they were here. I never thought Ty and I could get sick of Cafe Rio, but I think we came really close that week! It was really great seeing so many family members and made me even more excited for graduation when the whole gang comes out!

Well, like I said, I will really try to get better at this! I am really glad we started a blog (Thanks Megan) and have really enjoyed reading all of yours!
